Happy Holidays and New Year to all of you beautiful readers! :)
I missed you guys so much, i'm sorry i havent post in a while. I don't ever plan on not writing for that long again. We just got a ton of snow here in my little town in New York so i havent gone out much which means i have really gotten dressed :p So i didn't think pajama ootd would be very fun, right? :) And also i've been enjoying my time on Holiday with my family and trying to do fun things. Lately my brother and sister and I have been playing ping pong..... I'm horrible, but we have a lot of fun playing :)

How was everyone's holiday?! Mine was great, i love spending time with my family. :) And what are all of your plans for New Years Eve?! Do you have your outfit picked out is actually more of the question :)
I think i have my outfit picked out, but I'm still trying to decide if it's the right one!

So, the majority of this post will be my Christmas haul because i want to show you guys the clothes and stuff i was given/bought. I think i will put them on my mannequin Eleanor for you guys to see it on a figure. :) (Eleanor is very pretty guys, she's great!)

So, what am i waiting for? Let's get started :)
 I will startwith the things i had bought with Christmas money.
Getting money as a gift is just as good as recieving clothes. This way, you can pick out things that you know you would like!

I bought this adorable sweater at Kohl's and I just love it and I can't wait to wear it. I love the stars and mostly I LOVE THE GLITTER. This sweater reminds me of the one that Bridgit Mendler (LOVE HER) wears in her video for Ready Or Not (NO SHAME I LOVE THAT SONG THE FANGIRL IN ME IS COMING OUT)! :) I just love it i saw it and was like OMG I HAVE TO.

The next thing i bought is also from Kohl's, and OMG I'M HYPERVENTIALTING I CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO SEEEEEEEEE

Aren't they just GAHHAHAHHAH! I saw them and was like of they are the ones for me. I've been looking for black wedges since the summer and i just haven't found any of my liking until THESE OMG.  I'm sorry. I'm done fangirling. But just remember, this is also a fangirl blog SO ACTUALLY I'M NOT DONE FANGIRLING :)

I also bought this (at Kohl's) just because it's so darn cute and foreign looking and ugh.It's really a headband but it has this hat thing on it its just so darn adorable. But instead of the large gem, i  think i might put a big button or something on it instead :)

Now, onto gifts. My grandma is such a fashionista, so she always goes over board on my cousins, aunts, mom and sister and I. She finds really cute stuff. Some of the stuff we pick out, but she also picks out some great stuff! I got my sweater that i am wearing in the picture above from her (but i picked that out :D). I love anything Disney and UK related. I want to travel to the UK, and I plan on it :)

She picked out this gorgeous dress. I LOVE IT. It's Princess Vera Wang and it totally caught me off guard because it's perfect for me. I love collars and plaid and it's totally quirky and it's just perfect. I wore it Christmas Eve (see my post before this) and it fit perfectly. It was like it was made for me :)

Even though the dress fit perfect on me, it didn't fit quite as well on Eleanor, so this is as far as it's gonna go on her haha. (If you want to see the dress on me, look at the post before this one, i have some pictures on me wearing it!) 

My grandma also got all of us girls in the family scarves :) This is mine. I tied it up to make it a circle scarf and I've already worn it multiple times :) I love it!

I thought I would post all of this in sie kind of order but it's not really working out all that great haha so oh well.

My mom got my this denim shirt and I love it. It fits great, its a bit oversized (which i love) and it's just perfect. I love it :) (Sorry, it's a bit wrinkly)



Now onto some jewllery! :) (is that spelled right? i don't know haha) So the top two pictures are earrings, one pair are bows and the other is kind of hard to see. But they are danglys and the bottom ball is floral!

So some back story on the necklaces, OWLS ARE MY FAVORITE ANIMAL! They are so cool. It might have to with Harry Potter but I don't know haha. And the other necklace is from my mom and i love it. I want to travel, so this is the perfect necklace for me :)

And the last fashion related thing that ALL OF Y'ALL SHOULD READ!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it :)



I absolutely love Lauren Conrad. Her style is top-notch and she always looks beautiful. Definitely a style icon :)

So guys, this quite a long post, but i really wanted to show you the things i cant wait to wear! I hope everyone is having a great holiday, and i'll see you tomorrow with an ootd/ootn :)

Tonight's post is just a quick little one. I just wanted to say Merry Christmas Eve! And Happy Holidays for my readers that don't celebrate Christmas! I hope everyone has a great holiday!
Some good news is that I'm starting to feel a bit better! My nose has not been too stuffy and I can taste my food again. Just in time, right? :)

IT'S SNOWING YAY YAY YAYAYAYAYA!!!!! :D
Tonight's Christmas Eve Outfit was a Princess Vera Wang dress that my grandma got me as a gift! I absolutely live it :) it fits perfect, like it was made just for me. And I think it was cause of the collar and holllller. :)
And later in the night I put on some yoga pants and a new quirky sweater that I love love LOVE from Forever 21 :)

Cold medicine, snapchat and instagram

GUYS I AM SICK AND ITS ANNOYING BECAUSE IT'S THE FIRST DAY OFHOLIDAY AND UGH.
Because i am sick i have kind of been laying low and in bed. My temperature last night was 100.8 and i just fell asleep and took some cold medications and BAM. I'm feeling a bit better today though. Although, I still did sit on my bum for most of the day on instagram and snapchatting :)
(by the way, my instagram is @annaspickingflowers you guys could totally follow if you want.....:))
But, my family and i had plans to go out to dinner with my family that came in town so i got dressed and went out :) It felt good. I had other things to concentrate on than having a stuffy nose :) (p.s. my little cousin is such a mini Harry Styles it's crazy.)
So, i wore one of my favorite outfits because I needed to feel good and confident because being sick and having head aches and chapped lips and a chapped nose is no fun. SO I WORE HEELS OW.
I love heels. I don't know why I haven't been wearing them much lately.
But i'm going to stop rambling so much and move on to the ootn okay? okay :)

So, I wore my favorite shorts ( :D I WISH I COULD WEAR THESE EVERYDAY), with a black long sleeve shirt, scarf, black tights, and black bootie heels :)

Okay so, I got this purse last year from a consignment for 5 dollars.....and i'm pretty sure it's a really fake Chanel. BUT FOR 5 DOLLARS?! The purse was cute anyway so i freaking got it HOLLA

sickness, and not the kind that means cool

hey y'all in writing this from my bed because I am still sick but unfortunately have gotten a little worse. Nothing serious, just a cold with a sore throat and sore ears and a stuffy nose. I actually should have counted how many tissues I used today because I SWEAR I MUST HAVE USED ATEAST 2 HUNDRED. haha. But anyway, I am here to share my outfit of the day and see how you all are :)

Today's outfit was a denim shirt with bleach spots, jeggings, a knitted beret and studded combat boots :)
The shirt is from Target, the beret from H&M and the boots from Kohl's!

GOOD NEWS GOOD NEWS! :)

hey y'all tonight's post is exciting BECAUSE I'M UNLEASHING REALLY GOOD NEWS TO Y'ALL :)

The good news is..........

I GOT AN INTERNSHIP! :D
I'm going to be interning at a local bridal/gown boutique in my area and I am so excited :) I can't wait to start! I also applied for another one in a different boutique, so when I am done with this one, hopefully I can start the next! So Tuesday I am meeting with the supervisor and I will tell you guys all about it! I am so excited!!!! :)
I also have other good news.... But it must wait until it is 100000000% confirmed that its going to happen :) I can't wait for everything that's going to happen! :D

First Christmas Haul! :)

Hey y'all :)

turns out my allergic reaction was indeed an allergic reaction and I am now sick. 7 DAYS BEFORE THE HOLIDAY OMG.
So I have a pretty hardcore cold and am pretty sleep deprived because of everything that was going on this weekend haha. But, I'm already starting to feel a bit better. I just need to start relaxing a little more :)

So tonight's post will be about some gifts I was given so far for Christmas and a few things I bought :) I was given a lot of lotion and body spray and stuff like that WHICH IS AWESOME BECAUSE WHO DOESN'T LOVE LOTION AND BODY SPRAY!? I also got some really cool unique things as well. So here we go :)

Lotions and Beauty Products :)
At Nutcracker, we always exchange gifts with our friends and it's always so much fun. Also, we do secret santa in my Fashion Design class so that is where i got most of this stuff :)
So here is the lotion, spray, and lip gloss. Lotion and body spray are great. Having a variety is a good thing :)

My friend also gave me this eye-shadow, i can't wait to use it. I always wish i had more time and patience to do cool makeup because I LOVE EYE SHADOW

I got some fuzzy socks with grippers on the bottom. They're also the kind that has the aloe and stuff in them :D (something every dancer and girl for that matter needs.) and for some reason the picture wont load so use your imagination :)

My friend Sam, knows how much of a fangirl I am, and let me just say... SHE SHOULNT HAVE DONE IT BECAUSE EVERYONE WILL HEAR ABOUT IT FOREVER. 

And also, here are some accessories :)
Is this not the cutest darn headband?! And i love these bracelets/hairties! And omg these earringsss.......I'M IN LOVE GUYS.

I was also given a few other things, but unfortunately cannot get pictures on here haha. I also bought a new chambray shirt that has bleach spots from Trajayyy today and I plan on wearing it Thrusday so you'll see it then :)

It was a really hectic weekend and start to my week, but it's starting to slow down so i can post more :)

I'm sorry I didn't post last night, it just wasn't the best night. A lot happened and was going on. but I'm here to post tonight because I missed y'all :)

So today was the first performance of Nutcracker that I'm in! It went pretty good! Below I'll put a picture of me and my best friend in one of our costumes. All of our costumes are great!
And I'll also post my outfit for after the show! My dress is from Conway, scarf from Claire's, and my tights are just my dance tights I didn't take off haha :)

STRESS REHEARSAL AHHHHH

hello my beautiful readers :)
This weekend is going to be extremely busy, but I will try to keep you posted as much as I can :)

This weekend is my performance of the Nutcracker with my dance studio and it takes up a lot of time. Today I had dress rehearsal from 4 to 9:30 and I am pooped. It can get really stressful. And tomorrow I have it again! It's really fun, but it makes me really tired!
So at the bottom will be a picture of me and my best friend Kayleigh in our snow tu-tu's and pointe shoes :) she is one of y models for my fashion show in may as well! :)
And also, I have great news for y'all, but I don't want to tell you yet until it's certain! :D

I have my ootd for you guys and it includes high wasted shorts from a consignment shop, a striped shirt from Tarjayyy, a vintage cheetah scarf, black tights and combat boots from kohl's :)
Also a few rings :) one is a mood ring I got in elementary school that I love. The other three are rings that kind of each have a little meaning. The one on the bottom actually has Beatles lyrics on it from Can't Buy Me Love :) I LOVE THE BEATLES DO YOU?! TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS!

I have no shame in saying I am madly in love with Seventeen. I've been subscribed to it for years now, and i just love it. I really do! :)
I would love to intern there and then eventually work there! I would love to work for a fashion magazine. :)

I am subscribed to so many magazines. AND I WANT TO BE SUBSRIBED TO MORE.

Magazines are definitely an addiction of mine. Like when my Teen Vogue came yesterday i cried. (well i mostly cried because Harry Freaking Styles was on the front okay.) They were tears on joy :') Just kidding i didn't cry but i sure was close :)

So anyway, I have a few random things for you guys and my outfit of the day.

I'll show you the ootd first :)

So today I wore floral patterned pants and rolled them to the ankle. I've been loving patterned pants! They add pop to your outfit.

I tied my denim shirt up a little below my belly button and then wore my long sleeve shirt underneath it because I'm not about to wear a belly shirt when it's 30 degrees out haha.

And then I wore my scarf that i love but have no idea where i got it. Sorry guys :'(

And i also wore basic white flats!

When wearing patterend pants, it's best to keep the rest of the outfit simple. They add enough of a POP that wearing patterend shoes or a printed shirt would be over kill. Wear you're basics with the patterned pants :)

I saw some crazy ish today guys

GUYS. Today I saw a a woman wearing Nike Sneakers......with a stiletto coming out of the bottom. I WAS GAGGING OMFG.
It was crazy crap like I've never seen such shoes.

But anyway, my this was my outfit of the dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I wore a sweater with a long shirt underneath it and ripped jeans with crochetted, white oxfords and a clock necklace chain thing and then it broke because the chain got caught in my sweater and the clock went PLUNK. And then I cried.

Florence and the Machine, yes! :)

Today's outfit of the day was seriously my favorite outfit of this school year so far. 

I wore my shorts that I cut and studded with a black long sleeve shirt tucked into it, with black tights, combat boots, and a cheetah scarf :)

I also wore my hair in a top knot and wore gold stud earrings.
I loved this outfit. I felt so good in it.
 
Always remeber to wear things that make you feel comfortable and confident!
It's easier said than done, but really! It's the truth! Clothes are supposed to make you feel confident and happy! :)

And to all my short girls out there, I feel ya. I'm 5'3" but I gotta admit these short shorts that were high wasted made my legs feel and look miles long (well, longer than short girl legs haha). Also, wearing black tights with black shoes give the illusion that your legs are longer! Just a tip cause I really feel y'all. SHORT GIRLS ROCK! :)

And hand-me downs and Salvo's are the bomb. Spice things up that you find there! :)
I'll put the outfit details under the last picture, but I just want to say that my scarf was acctually my great grandma's, and it's vintage and beautiful. She was a very fashionable woman. and always dressed great. <3 :)
