Hey y'all! 

So I thought I'd share my outfit of the day for you guys tonight!! I also did some school shopping today so I have a haul I'll do in another post soo :) 

Today I was shopping all day. When shopping, you want to make sure you are wearing clothes that are comfortable to move in. (This doesn't mean go out in pjs though!) I went for some high waisted shorts embellished with silver pyramid studs (urban outfitters), a black bandeau (Charlotte Rousse), a pink denim vest (SALVO!), and black combat boots (target). 

When shopping for clothes, you want to make sure that things are easy to take off and put back on. Especially shoes! The boots I wore zip right up or down so I can rip them right off! you want to wear clothes that are easy and quick to get off ( who wants to spend more time in a dressing room putting your old clothes back on because they're complicated?! not me!) 

Make sure your shoes are comfy too if you're doing a lot of walking around!! I'm usually a flip flop girl in the summer, but I needed some extra support for all the walking I was going to be doing which is why I chose the boots :)

Casualllll

Hi guys :)

Here's my outfit of the day from yesterday! I went to a baseball game and then watched some fireworks with my friends so it was pretty casual! Here's some pics :) 

I wore a black cardigan (old navy) over a plain white v-neck tee with high waisted shorts from salvo! I cut up the shorts, put holes in them, and studded them. (I'm hoping to do a little DIY shorts post!) I threw on some flip flops from Charlotte Russe because they are easy and pulle my hair up into a top knot and wrapped a red bandana around my head, channeling my inner Lana Del Rey :) 

   When you're going out for a casual night with friends don't over do it!! Make sure you're comfy, but still chic.

Graduation!

Hi guys :) 

So I thought I'd post my outfit that I wore for graduation! Since last time I've posted a lot has happened! Wednesday was my 18th birthday woooo! So I went and got my tragus pierced. Wanna see? :) 

And for my birthday I just hung out with my family which was surprisingly fun. Me and my brother and sister went to the creek and actually got along for a few hours hahah. 

I also graduated (obviously) since last time I've posted. I graduated Thursday the 20th and it felt amazing. It was a little sad, but mostly exciting. I have an opportunity to get out of this town when I go away to school to study fashion design. So here's my outfit from graduation! 

(The dress is Princess Vera Wang from Kohl's [only $15!!] and the shoes are from Payless [and were only $5!] a little tip, try to only buy things on sale. I RARELY buy anything over 15 or 20 dollars.) 

For my hair I straightened out all my tight curls and then curled looser ones in. i was actually really proud of myself because it turned out quite good hahah. Here's a shot from the back!

After graduation, we do this all night thing called "project graduation". Right after the actual graduation you go change into comfy clothes and hop on a bus and go somewhere that's a surprise. When you have to dress comfy, honestly, just wear whatever makes you feel good, but still confident. I absolutely love leggings when I dress down. And I almost always pair them up with a hoodie. Here's a picture of me and my friend Bryce before I left!

Last outfit prom dress yayyyy!

ARE YOU READY?! 

This is my adorable model Mallory is my prom dress! She was so cute she loved modeling. I love her! 

So, for this post I will post some prom pictures so you can see the dress and how I styled it for the special night :) 

The bodice of the dress is a peachish/copper leather covered in multicolored flowers and small pearl beads. The bottom was a light sage green tulle with three full tea length skirts :) 

  (Oh btw...... I took Liam Payne to prom ;))

Fourth outfit here we go! :)

Hey y'all, are you ready to see the fourth outfit!? 

Here are some pictures of my model Bryce in the dress!

The bodice of the dress is a sage green denim and is embellished with silver, circular studs on the abdomin. connected to the scooped neckline is a white leather collar. The bottom is a peach tulle and is lined with a nude mini. 

I love this dress, it actually won me a scholarship for college! it was the perfect balance of girly and edgy and Bryce walked it great down the runway. 

Here's a picture of me twirling in it like a small child 

It reminded me of something we would wear for dance because the tutu skirt was so much fun. 

One more outfit left! I can't wait for you guys to see it.

Third Outfit hi :)

ARE YOU READYYYY?! 

well here it is on my model Kayleigh :) 

This is is a circle skirt and the bodice is quite form fitting but the back has a circle cut out like seen here at the show :) 

The skirt is a little short, so this and the open back make the girly dress sexy. The fabric is stretch and multicolored thread is woven over the black background. Here are so pictures of me in it :) 

Circle skirts are extremely swingy and PERECT to twirl in :) it's so fun, but if you go twirling keep in mind if you twirl to hard people will see a peak of your bum! :) 

I'm in love with this dress. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. It's adorable and sexy and quirky and everything a little dress should be. I can't wait to wear it out!

Second Outfit woooo :)

Hey y'all :) 

Ready to see the second outfit?! 

This on is one of my favorites. I love this seafoam green linen romper with it's leather collar and flower-embellished hips. it's so girly but you can edge it up like I did for the show :) 

Here's my model Jordan who rocked it! 

This romper is classy with it's princess line to shoulder bodice and high neckline with the white leather collar. I absolutely loved this on Jordan. It fit her great and it look sooo good with her dark hair. 

Here's another picture of the romper with me in it. (Please ignore the wrinkles, I REALLY have to work those suckers out.) 

The flowers on the hips were actually supposed to be studs, but when I stamped the studs in, two seconds later they all fell out. It was quite the adventure. 

I am so happy with the way it turned out. I love the color and the fact that it can be dressed up as girly or edgy. Do you guys like it??!

First Outfit :)

Hey y'all :) 

Are you ready to see my garments individually from the fashion show!? I'm excited to show you! The first one I'm gonna show you guys is the one I actually modeled :) 

These high waisted light washed, destroyed denim shorts are my favorite. I love the sage green waistband and the studded back! 

The shorts were quite tight and form fitting to show off what I actually have of curves (which is like nothing hahah.) I'm very straight up and down but these shorts added some vavoom! 

The top is a sweetheart, floral rose bustier that ties like a corset up the back. I honestly loved putting the eyelets in. It was so fun. And my teacher had the most perfect shade of beige in a shoelace, so I used that to tie it up :c 

I thought this outfit was fun and edgy, but it had girliness to it too! I'm in love with making something girly look edgy as well, because that's how I am. I love flowers and pink but put on some indie rock and dark eye makeup and I'm set :) 

So there's the first outfit! 4 more to go! Keep your eyes peeled for the next post :)

Fashion Show anyone?

Hey guys :)

So one of the big reasons why I haven't been updating is because I've been super busy and not motivated. YOU CAN BLAME IT ON MY SENIOR COLLECTION. 

    The last couple months I've been kicking myself in the butt because for my fashion design class, each senior has to produce a mini collection for our end of the year fashion show. So I had to kick it into high-gear because I had absolutely nothing done. 

So before I show you the finished work, meet my models Kayleigh, Jordan, Mallory and Bryce :) 

Aren't they little cuties? :) 

                 so are you ready?! :) 

  (I plan on making another post of all of the outfits separately so you guys can see each one and it's character :)) 

So, my collection included: 

a seafoam-green romper with an off white leather collar and multicolored flowers on the hips

My prom dress which was a copper leather bodice embellished with multicolored flowers and pearl beads with a sage green tulle tea length skirt

High waisted destroyed shorts with a sage green waistband and studded back pockets and an antique rose floral bustier that was a corset in the back

A sage green denim bodiced dress with a scoop neck, Peter Pan collar off white leather collar, and studs on the abdomin with a peach tutu skirt

And a black multicolor circle skirt dress with a circle cut out on the entire back!

  My collection was originally inspired by the UK and lots of other things. But once I started working on each garment, I started to just add whatever I felt needed to be in there.

     I am such a flower person, I swear in my past life I was a flower, so most of my garments had flowers on them whether it was a print or 3d flowers were stitched on. Another big thing seen in my collection was studs because they make any girly outfit a bit more tough. We also can't forget all of the tulle I used. I swore I'd never work with so much tulle ever again because I was losing my patience hahah :) 

I can't wait to show you guys each garment photographed individually so I can tell you what went into it and what inspired me to make it!

Please let me explain why I've been go for so long.

I've been horribly busy and stressed and I don't even know. I've just been having a hard time getting motivated and I feel horrible that I haven't been updating. 

But also........ (I'm giving you permission to virtually punch me in the face)... I have been putting like 0 effort into my appearance for school lately.....

Guys SENIORITIS IS KILLING ME IT'S RIPPING ME TO SHREDS.

This week the weather has been so good.

I feel like I haven't been here in so long. When things start to slow down I will be here more often. I really do promise. I miss you guys so much. Hopefully this weekend I can post and update y'all about what's been going on in my life that's made it so hectic! It's good new, I promise :)

I can't change, even if I tried

Hey guys :)

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy with college and scholarships stuff :( but I'm here now and plan to be be more often! :)

So here is my ootd from yesterday! :)

I wore a denim shirt from Target with a scarf I got for Christmas! It's still really cold here, so while I was wearing tights I needed to bundle up more haha. But on the bottom I wore a pair of high wasted studded shorts from Forever 21! And my shoes are Aphorism from Marshall's.
everything I wore yesterday was on sale! Try to only buy things when it's a good deal. Especially if you're on a budget like me! I hope you guys like it, I'll see you soon :)

AND AS LONG AS HE GOT HIS SUIT AND TIE

Can I just say that JT looked SMOKIN in his Tom Ford suit. AND DID YOU SEE HIS PERFORMANCE omg. He looks so spiffy. The suit is tailored to perfection. He looked AMAZING.

 

 

Adele

A lot of people thought that this wasn't flattering on Adele. BUT I FRICKIN LOVED IT. Adele always wears black. I loved this red Valentino dress. I loved how the shoes matched perfectly and the red looked great on her. I just thought she looked amazing and she won an award and i loved it. Definitely one of my favorite looks of the night.

 

Florence Welch

 

Florence blew me away in this spiked Givenchy gown. I love her quirky style and whoever doesn't like this is crazy. SHE'S LIKE A DRAGON. I absolutely love the dark lip with it and when red heads where green I can't breathe because it always looks so good. She rocked this. She looked so hot I just love Florence. 4 FOR YOU FLO.

 

 

Kelly Rowland

All I'm gonna say is DAMN SHE LOOKS GOOD.

 

Okay just kidding I can't just say that because look at her she didn't care about no dress code thank the lawd she looks GREAT. This Georges Chakra gown makes me want to do some crunches.

 

Ed Sheeran

 

Okay so, maybe i'm biased but Ed rocked the Burberry suit with sneakers okay. He's my babe i love him so much. And his performance with Sir Elton John was just... omg. I felt pure happiness watching that. And when they performed i'm so happy Ed changed into his normal performing clothes. He is just so easy to fall in love with am I right ladies? :)

 

And for my favorite looks of the night........:)

 

Rihanna

 

 

Riri usually takes the plunge for these kind of things, but i absolutely loved her look for the Grammys. Her red Alaia gown was to die for and everything about her looked amazing that night.

 

 

Rihanna also looked amazing while she was performing. I absolutely loved her white rib drift dress in the top photo and her sleek, body hugging black gown was perfect for her performance of "Stay" with Mikky Ekko. Rihanna looked like a movie star multiple times that night. She definitely has my vote for best dressed :)
